VR Sketching Project
This is the most recent project I have been assigned to work on at my current job, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, with the CSU Natural User Interaction Laboratory (NUI Lab). This project focuses on the use of controllers, microgestures, and voice commands in a virtual reality sketching software application that the NUI Lab is developing. For more information on the NUI Lab, visit our website at https://nuilab.org/.

VR Forest Project
This is the previous project I was assigned to as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the NUI Lab. This project is currently researching which of the forest virtual environments provides the most relaxing effects on the viewer by measuring their heart rate and breathing rate, and by having them complete a few tests and surveys before and after a stressful task, and then before and after being in the environment. For more information on the NUI Lab, visit our website at https://nuilab.org/.

VR Chilean Forest Project
This project is a smaller version of the VR Forest Project. For this project, we are partnering with a medical group in Chile to create a soothing, relaxing version of the Forest Project, featuring a virtual environment similar to the forests native to Chile, for them to use to help younger patients relax during stressful activities. Art Projects

Opera Poster
I made this poster for an assignment in which each person was assigned a different opera to research and create a theater poster for. This poster is about the opera Carmen. It focuses on Carmen’s bright, passionate relationship with Don Jose and the ominous foreshadowing of her death later in the story. I created the imagery using a mixture of photography and Photoshop.
Product Packaging
For this project, we were tasked with creating a product and its packaging. I created a company called Homebody for this project that would specialize in travel-sized self-care products. I created all the packaging labels for the Homebody products to create a cohesive, soothing visual aesthetic for the 5-piece kit and the individual bottles.
Illustrated Book
This is an illustrated book I made using a short story provided by another department of CSU that had partnered with the graphic design program for this project. I worked with the author to create illustrations that matched the events in the story. I made the illustrations in Illustrator and the layouts in InDesign. I gave the environment a low-poly design to connect with the AI glasses the protagonist wears throughout the story.
